I heard the news is out on the 2008 H3 Alpha power plant! anyone heard anything on the specifics? Searching the web

Yes it will be a V8, so far. That comes from a very credible source. I don't remember the size though.

 

According to my dealer it's a 4.6 litre ..

I'll definitely be getting one of those...when the second model year of any H3 V8 comes out...just in time for my current H3 smart buy to expire...the 2006 engine issues have me spooked about buying any new Hummer engine in the first model year.

 

I hope it is a flex fuel V8 like the one in my Tahoe, that would be awesome!
