In May 2008 I purchased a 2006 H3 Lux Victory Red with Cashmere leatherinterior. Ithad 5900 miles on it an was in perfect condition., Mods included Magnaflow Catback and an Airdoc CAI. On Oct. 25th an inattentive driver pulled across a highway into my path. Both vehicles were totaled. Everything worked great. Airbag deployed, flashers and interior lights came on, the doors unlockedand before I exited the vehicle, Onstar was calling to see if I was okay. Walked away with onlya scrape on my shin, bruised knee and sprained wrist. After the policereport..(other driver charged) and a call to the Insurance Company, the first order of business was to find another H3for I was pretty sure the 2006 was finished. Even with all the uncertainty with Hummer and GM, I never for a nanosecond considered another vehicle. I really like the H3's. The 2006 was declared totaled 3 days after the accident and 3 days after that I had me a brand new 2008 H3 Lux Victory Red with Cashmere leather interior.Ihave since installeda Magnaflow Catback and an Airdoc CAI. My philosophy is if you find something you like, stick with it. Thanks to all in the forum. It is a great source if information. Thought I would let you all in on my little adventure and that everything works as advertised.

Super cool that you only had a scratch!! 3s are safe in a wreck. Glad you were able to work it all out with the insurance and jump right back in with a newer 3, and get the mods going so quick.

Thanks all, I don't recommend crashing your H3 but at least I feel safe in it and all the safetyfeatures worked. Thanks to DocIgot my CAI back on board quickly. A great product.
