Default H3

First, great forum, I've been lurking for a couple days, seems like almost everyone is happy with their H3's.

To my amazement, earlier this week my wife said, "Lets get a Hummer" we had looked at them a couple of months ago, so as you can well imagine I need to act quickly. Problem is there are no dealership withing about 70 miles of my house, only about 6 within 200 miles. My plan is to deal by phone with the closest dealership and get e-mail quotes from the others. I'm going to get a red H3x with auto tranny and sun roof.

I've spent some time on the Hummer.comsitebut I don't see where their offering any rebatesor gooddeals, am I missing something? From your experience how much will a dealership reduce the MSRP?

Thanks
Frank

I bought mine over the phone from a dealer400 miles away out of state...The whole deal was fantastic ..got what I wanted and paid $100.00 over dealer's invoice...

I have a dealer in town here..but this place beat their price by $3000.00....well worth a the 5 hour drive one way....I drove 55 MPH the whole way home (boy there was a lot of waving at me...those folks in Arkansas are really friendly)..that took about 6.5 hours..But I knew I broke it in right.

Welcome tomour crazy group. You will do well to browse the forums here and learn as much about the vehicle you are interested in. It will help you make an informed decision, and also prevent the salesman from leading you astray.!!! Good luck with your purchase decision.

Welcome!
I have an H3 on order but I don't think it will hit to take advantage of the current incentives GM is offering:
$950 Bonus cash unitil 3/14
$950 Free Sun Roof until 4/3
$1000 Cash allowance until 4/3

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the welcome!!
I e-mailed 5 dealerships last Friday, only heard back from 2 of them, busines must be good. I'm suprised that the 2 that replied actually quoted prices. The last time I bought a vehicle the only thing they would say in an e-mail is "call me". One of the dealerships says he has 140 H3's on the lot, 12 of them H3x's, I've got to go there.
