My navigation system has been turning dimmer and dimmer for quite some time.
This is not an issue of flickering!
it is an issue of a steady screen light that is becoming dimmer and dimmer as time goes by. No flashing or what so ever. It is as if i had gone thru the settings and taken the brightness away little by little.
This issue has gotten to the point that I have to literally loose focus on the road and totally focus on trying to see the damn display.
I am afraid the damn thing will soon just be so dark I wont be able to see anything.

What the heck!

 

It's a problem with all LCD screens with fluorescent illumination. These guys might be able to help with a repair or at least point you in the right direction.

I looked at the website you recommended but there is nothing listed as replacing part. I sent an email to see what the problem may be. I hope this is in NY. Otherwise Im out of luck i guess.
