Posted earlier in the wrong place, SORRY!

A couple of things I'm having issues with; I've had an '05 H2 SUT for about a year now and a few weeks ago started getting the "Service 4WD" indication on the instrument panel. I've asked a few service techs about it and am getting different answers. One actually called it the "Money Light." Another said that it is nothing to worry about and still another said that it most likely a scheduled maintenence item that pops up when a pre-set mileage hits. I'm sure this is a somewhat common issue and was wondering what others experienced and the results theyhad (costs, headaches, damage, etc.) and what to expect when I take it in for service.
Secondly, I've heard of recalls for2005 GM trucks and SUV'sfor the instrument clusters (more specifically Delphi electronics) but haven't been able to find anything online. Recently, I've had the water temp and the battery voltage go haywire and don't know if this is a recall item since I'm out of warranty. Anybody familiar with cluster recalls and what vehicles are covered? Thanks for your help!

 

My brother has had 2 lifted chevys and both had the service 4wd light go off, hasnt caused any problems yet. The problem appeared when he chiped his trucks, have you done this. Also i call bs on preset thing that goes of at a certain mileage, ive got almost 70k on my 06 and so far have only seen one service engine light for a polution sensor thing and currently i am getting a blinking service engine light when i put it to the floor i dont know what thats for but soon will because i droped it off at a gm dealer this morning to get a check up on everything.
