H2 Sucks In Snow
I know you were .. I guess my dose of sarcasm was ill placed or poorly executed this time cuz I tried the same thing myself ... granted, in my defense it IS Monday and well, I didn't get to sleep last night lol ...
I had some minor issues in the deep stuff yesterday but nothing a little common sense couldn't solve. Got stuck twice on some closed down .. err wheel tracks in the woods when the snow started pushing 2 feet (not where that pic is from).. I was taking it pretty nice and slow which probably wasto my disadvantage but ... didn't want to bounce the wife around in the truck and end up putting her in the back seat or in the trunk LOL! The 20 foot drop off on one side was probably also a factor in me taking it nice and slow ... was tight on room to begin with .. getting stuck in it only made it more interesting LOL!

If anyone would know how functional the H2's are it would be Shorty and Ghost Rider ... if it wasn't for the fact that Ohio sucks from an offroading aspect I'd be following in their footsteps more often .. unfortunately we're rather limited here unless you hit GravelRama and that place is a madhouse most of the time .. I guess I'll just have to head on out that way this summer and beg the master of mud to show me some of the local spots :-)
i snapped a couple of pics of my lil bro's stock H2 in the snow (now deleted from this post) The snow was hard enough to scrape the spray paint off of my steel skid plate and to walk on, and the stock truck could go through 2-2 1/2 feet of it pretty comfortably, shoving a big wave of snow in front. Around 2 1/2 to 3 feet of snow, the stock truck would run out of traction, spin its tires, unlock the rear diff, and come to a stop. If the snow was fluffy it would be easier going, of course.
I ran chains and disconnected the safetyon my front locker so it wouldstay lockedwhen the rear-locker disconnected, and with that combo i could shove my way through a whole, whole lot of snow.
I have to Rust-Oleum my skid plate again this afternoon.
But i guess i thought the H2 did pretty darn good.
