Hello. I’ve had the black bus now for almost 10 years. It pretty much a member of the family. It is a totally impractical vehicle but it does everything I need it whenever I ask it. I live in California but have done more than a few snow covered trips up to Idaho for Christmas. The bus has never left me in a bad spot. We use it as a station wagon for the family and neighborhood kids. I purchased it with 85,000 miles and it’s now almost 220,000. The forum has a lot of information on it and I hope that I can can be useful for some of you too. I have a done a lot of maintenance and a few upgrades in between. Mine is the 2003 adventure model. It currently has the trans, transfer case and front end upgraded to Silverado 3500 parts with the push button 4x4, the compressor is gone and has the springs in the back, added the factory outside spare carrier, stereo is upgraded, the seats have the Katzkin with suede inserts, a viper alarm with remote start, it has 3rd row seats that were taken from a Yukon which brings the seating up to 8, and I’m currently attempting to add the factory TPMS system to the truck.

Anybody know of any Hummer events around the Sacramento area?
