H2 Hybrid?
Wouldn't Believe the people that ask me about this thinking it's Really a Hybrid! Lol! I really did it for ALL those H2 Haters out there!

This is hilarious. Haters gonna hate.
I thought about doing a browns gas set up to increase the combustion efficiency. Not sure how to reprogram the computer. At the same time, I'd wonder if a supercharger would yield a positive MPG gain, like people see in the H3.
Sorry for the random derailment. Carry on.

There was going to be an electric H3 that apparent got 100mpg (so long as the total distance wasn't greater than 60 miles).

Hline conversions has an electric option:
Hybrid Electric Car Truck Hummer H1 H2 Kit - Clean Futures
No clue if the actual mpgs are real world or just BS. I'd only even start to consider this if I had a solar array option & the electric option was water proof w/ a limited life time warranty.

Killer, that's too Funny! Lol! You know i Never had a CLUE that there was some of these people out there that go out of their way just to shoot the finger or **** on an H2 tire or whatever, but i saw it somewhere i think maybe it was utube or something that there is a club STRICTLY for H2 Haters! They post pics of All kinds of them doing different things to H2's!

FUH2 comes to mind. That site is probably a 0.1% influence me my wanting to pick one up again. The other 99.99% is having a quality vehicle again.
If you ask me my opinion on hybrids, I think the concept is great, except that we can't produce enough batteries to actually convert over to this tech on a wide scale. As well, if your power is not supplied by nuclear, you're probably on coal or another fossil fuel. At least combustion of octane/nonane/decane (gas / diesel) has a higher energy conservation rate vs gas -> electricity -> engine power. The more steps, the greater the inefficiency. That's why I like browns gas; improved combustion efficiency. No need for a catalytic converter. Would save a good chunk of change & water is extremely abundant. I could go on and on.
According to Edmunds, 153,026 H2s were ever produced (obviously fewer on the roads today since there's been wrecks), with only 600 from the 2009 model year (I wish I could find an affordable one, lol).
Conversely, 195,405 excursions were produced. According to wiki, the EPA sets a standard that any diesel engine gets 27 mpg. I have no clue wtf this even means. People claim 15mpg, according to wiki. The diesel conversion for H2s in 2WD, lacking a lead foot) is 22mpg+ from what I've heard. Probably higher if you use / produce bio diesel. a 30mpg H2 is not impossible, at least in 2014.
Fuel economy[edit]
Built using the same platform and powertrain as the Super Duty (a line of trucks over 8,500 lb (3,900 kg) GVWR), the Excursion received complaints and criticism over its fuel economy as a passenger vehicle, while Super Duty line-up did not. [8]
The Excursion was designed to be classified as a heavy-duty vehicle, as for commercial or rural use, with a GVWR 8,900 lb (4,000 kg) - gasoline V10 engine and 9,200 lb (4,200 kg) - any diesel engine which exempted the vehicle from CAFE fuel economy regulations and quoting United States Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) fuel economy estimates any diesel engine Fuel consumption @ 27 MPG Highway.[9] Most people claim 15 real world average MPG with the 7.3 diesel engine.

If I ever get that Browns Gas idea off the ground & it works, I want to change the name of my H2 to "H2O". It would confuse the hell out of people.
