H2 -- how much room?
I'm not sure you will, your outside the norm height wise so there is the likely hood your legs are longer than anyone might expect and your knees are in the dash or your torso and now your heads cocked sideways against the roof liner. I know someone close to your height who fits fine in my rig, so that makes me reasonably sure that if I was you I would make the drive to check it out. Worst case it's just to small and and H2 just wont fit you. Your size will also make the back seats a little less accommodating so that would be something to keep in mind.
I appreciate your response, Pauldy! Thank you very much! I never intend to sit in the back seat anyway, and I just want to see if I'm fine in the driver and passenger seat. And I have some good news! While searching the internet, I came across someone in my area with an H2 for sale, and I'm trying to get in touch with him. We'll see how that goes, and hopefully I'll be a proud owner of an H2 soon.
Found a Hummer H2 nearby. A private seller wants to get rid of it because they now have a large family. If I fit in it good enough, I'll take the vehicle into consideration. Gonna take me a month or two to decide... I'm so slow.
Well, I got in the driver's seat to see how it was. Nice leather seats, navigation package, red exterior, beige interior, etc... I have to sit a certain way, and my knees hit the dashboard, but that's the case with every car. It definitely has a bit more room than the H3. Looks like I'm getting an H2. :-)
If you look at an 08 or 09 H2, they are not cheap or plastic on the inside anymore. Everything is soft touch materials and they are very roomy inside. I would say to take the drive and look at an H2, you will love it, especially if you drive an 08 or 09!
