Anyone out there have the Factory Chrome Vents on their H2? If so are the metal or Plastic. I know the original black one are plastic and would like to order the GM chrome parts but the dealership does not know what they are made of. Thanks!

 

Too bad the aftermarket billet vents require you to give up your first born .. there are some NICE ones ..

I have the factory (GM) chrome vents and they are indeed chromed plastic.

 

I have the Chromed Billet SMA ones. They are AWESOME!!! I would HIGHLY recommend the BILLET!!!

 

Seen those Bob, they are awesome. If I recall correctly they come in powder coated black too, don't they? I may have to pick up a set when I get around to doing my exterior door handles .. gotto get rid of that chrome too LOL!

 

Thanks to all that replied, found the actual GM product and indeed they are Chromed plated ABS Plastic as Jaxtrip said. GM should be embarassed about what they charge for these especially when aftermarket billet replacement are only a few dollars more.For the cost in this caseGenuine GM and aftermarket billet !
