H2 Exhaust
Hello group,
I am looking at putting an exhaust system on my '05 H2....I have an Airaid intake on order, I am looking at letting the exhaust flow better now that she can breathe easier! Any opinions?
Predator Motorsrorts makes a true 4" system...but it is around $1000. I have seen Corsa systems advertised for $675, but I don't know much about them. I know Magnaflow is good, but I have ridden in some trucks with Magnaflow and the low drone even at cruising speed is irritating.
Not wanting it too loud, but I am more wanting performance, increase in H.P., and increase in MPG. I know I can't have my cake and eat it too!

Hey Fire, I went with the mangaflow and you are correct its way to loud, even went as far as to dynamat the entire inside of the vehicle, the dynamat make a huge improvment, however the drone is still more than i can stand, the magna flow definently made a huge improvment over the restricted oem exhaust, but at the cost of the drone noise, any one have any suggestions to somthing thats about the same loudness as the oem exhaust that will breath better than the oem, at this point im chaucking this up to a loss and ready to start over, any input would be appreciated........
If you don't want drone....go Corsa.

Either you guys dont know what loud is, or magnaflow makes a few different exhausts and were not talking about the same system....
I have a single pipe/muffler straight back to single exhaust tip. Engine is just a hair louder than stock at idle. Has a nice deep/throaty sound when you get on it. Nothing close to getting a ticket and absolutly no drone at all.
You know...honestly putting the aftermarket air intake on my truck (after I did the exhaust)made the engine louder on throttle and changed the tone inside the truck. Outside, it sounds the same. In the cab it just sounds kinda sloppy. Almost enough to the point next time i'm screwing around in the engine bay, I'm probably gonna throw the stock airbox back in.
Usually people do intakes first and exhaust later...I'm betting you guys that had the magnaflows had different airboxs and thats the noise/drone your talking about and thinking its the exhaust.
