Default H2 Broken Into...Again!

I'm learning that Hummers are pretty easy to break into. Mine was broken into a year ago when I had to go to Memphis on business. My wife's was broken into last night when we had to be in Memphis on business. I'm glad I don't live there.
Both times someone broke the drivers door handle surround and jammed the lock out. I know there is a theft deterrent called the Jimmi Jammer but I'm looking for replacement door handle surrounds made out of billet aluminum or maybe an impact explosive putty. OK maybe just the billet. Any recommendations? I bought a German Shepherd but it'll be a few months until he's old enough to be effective.

That sucks. I have the billet surrounds on my H2. I live in a small town and just bought them because they look cool. If I lived in a high crime area I would for sure have them.

Do you have alarms on the vehicles? The Viper 5204, 5704 or 5904 are great systems. They will come with a shock sensor, then add a dual zone field disturbance censor (508D) that should do the trick! You could take it even further and add some additional (513T) mini piezo sirens. -Jeremy @ 12 volt car audio video security convenience hand free expert tips advice

I installed the Viper 5704 2-way with remote start and Smart Start. I also ordered 3 "Pain Generator" 130dB piezo sirens. 2 to install inside the B pillars and 1 in the back. I think I'll also get a couple of Superbright LED strobes to disorient anyone that does get inside. But, probably the most effective deterrent to keep thieves from getting in is to just remove the door lock cylinders and fill the hole with a matching plug. I think thieves target H2's because it's just as easy to jam a screwdriver in and pry the lock up as it is to put the key in and turn it....all without triggering the factory alarm.
