I have been shopping for a H1 for many years now and after 4 deployments i am going to be getting one about mid next year. I have seen on many trucks that there is a middle seat in the rear. I searched online for this as an aftermarket part but couldnt find anything. Is this a home made seat from a junk yard part, factory option, or something the aftermarket offers?

 

I belive that AMG offered it as an option. i have seen many with matching upholstery, both cloth and leather. Also the Jeep jumpseat will fit in the same space. Different aftermarket companies make the brackets for them and maybe even the seats. Try Predator and RubberDuck 4x4

 

It has always been an aftermarket option (unless GM made some available). There are quite a few options out there. Predator has a seat.

we used to install the at the dealer from 94-06. you ordered them from AM general and they were not a factory option but ordered threw their accessory catalog. you could get at the time the matching interior but now they only off black vinal only. they used to come with the seat and mount and a small piece of carpet that went on the aux consol for the little people to put their feet on while they sat in the aux. seat.
