You can go aftermarket (as mentioned above); but if you truly want a wagon without the bulk head divder and with full interior trim, etc., your best bet is going to be sell your truck and buy a wagon to replace it.

I know the military ones are interchangable in just a couple of hours, all you need are the parts. There is just some unbolting and sealant to break free. Why wouldn't that be the same for a 95? Had they changed the civilian ones to the wider roof by then and made it more difficult to do that, and couldnt you get the required roof pieces through a body shop or the dealer?

To start, the military HMMWV's don't have a fixed bulkhead in place - removing that thing is a huge pain in the ***, and cleaning it up to look neat afterwards is an even bigger pain. The civilian wagon top is also one continuous roof -- and there are few of them floating around as "parts." Plus they don't have all the interior trim parts, headliner, etc. Bottom line is that a full conversion would likely be more expensive than selling one truck and purchasing another.

In my experience, most folks who want to convert a civilian soft-top to a civilian wagon want the entire finished interior, not just a functional shell; those interior parts add up to big money.

Ah! I see. I dont have much experiance with the civilian ones, other than sticking my head in the window of a couple at a Hummer Happening. That is the only wayI know the new ones have a wider roof. I also know the civilian ones have a modified roll bar/B pillar to accomodate better seat angles and the new roof. Now that I think about it though, all of the military hard tops are either slant backs, pickup or full ambulances, not counting the new fiberglass tops they are putting on them; I have only seen them in Iraq, and only one stateside since my return.
