Hi all, got a 95 H1 4 door hardtop, live in uk, so not many fellow owners to chat to, wonder if anyone knows trouble having at startup, i think air is getting into fuel line and vehicle stalls after few hundred yards, even if i allow to warm up first. also could do with knowing good spares outlet that is competitive and will ship to uk. thanks phil.

 

I haven't seen many H1 owners here on this forum, but there are lots on humvee.net. i've seen issues like the one you mention and there seem to be a lot of mechanic savvy people there. i'm sure they also have suggestions/ideas on where you can get parts either in the UK or that will ship to you.

how do you fit that thing on those narrow roads there? i thought my '72 mini was wide at times when i was there, you must take up the whole road and half the shoulder.

anyway...once youre moving, does it do ok? or is this a nonstop issue?

 

Thanks 4 info, i'll check it out, as 4 size of roads,, i'm only avoiding lanes (very narrow roads), most roads here have room for buses to get down, so if buses can get round then i'm good 2. Cheers!
