Greetings

My H1 completely died without warning while driving today - the internal and external lights work, so I believe it is related to the ignition switch. After replacement, still no start.

My Hummer is a bastard child - 1993 with cummins 6bt, 47rh tranny and np241 dhd transfer case.

I did just switch out the gauges to McNally ones to include boost and egt - perhaps related.

Any ideas as to a cause would be appreciated.

Does it turn over and not catch? Or not even start at all?

I had to bypass my alarm because it would shut off at times and not allow me to start my vehicle.

 

It does not turn over and no gauges work. No alarm to worry about either.

I'll check the fuses and such tomorrow when it's light.

It turns out there are about four 20-40 amp fuses directly behind the fuse box - well hidden i must say.

I found the wiring issue so all is well.
