I am selling my long time owned 1995.5 H1 and wanted to show it here prior to listing on ebay.
My Ownership:
I have owned this truck for approx 7 years and it's received very little use during my ownership. So I have decided to sell it since it just sits in the garage taking up a lot of space. Again it's been in the garage for 7 years on my farm in Upstate NY. I have had plates and insurance on it for the entire time so it's been a waste of money. I have put approx 1200 miles on it since owning it. It has approx 90,000 total in it. I purchased this truck from a farmer in Iowa and the wife and I drove it back the long way to NY. What fun we had and the attention we received was a lot of fun.
Interior:
I pulled all the interior pieces the first month I owned it to do a complete interior restoration. I wanted to to be tan instead of original grey. It's 25% completed. I have all parts and several new ones. New carpet, new seat covers and sound mats have all in been installed. If I finish the install I will want to raise price since time is so scarce but I need to sell this truck since I need the garage space and wife thinks I am wasteful since I bought it as a weekend project that I have never really started. I have all the interior parts so nothing is missing. There is some duplicate items that I have purchased. Also has 3rd row jump seat and metal body twist brace.
The Body:
This truck was used as a weekend hobby off road, hunting and gentleman's farm "Let's go chase redneck hunters spotlighting on my property intimidation machine". So it's been in the woods and the body does have some scratches but nothing to paint. It could be buffed out and look nice. The top is steel if I recall and has significant rusting. It could be repaired or replaced with a soft top which I planned on doing. I was offered a lot of money for the top in it's current condition so it could be sold, soft top added and remaining money put in the pocket. There are no big dents in the body.
Electronics:
The interior electronics all worked when I pulled it apart e.g. radio, A/C, lights. I did add the light bar and 8 50 Watt HID Spot/Takedown lights that will completely light a field and anything it it for a long long distance. I did this to blind people on my property spotlighting and scare the **** out of them. It's like the Sun on wheels! I added 50 Watt HID headlights also. I even added LED taillights and marker lights. The tire air unit does not work to my knowledge. Winch is included but I never used it since I never had the need. I think it's a 12k lb warn. Dual fuel tanks work like a charm.
Motor:
It's the AM general diesel engine. I have changed all filters, fluid and this motor runs great. Not much to say here except it's a powerhouse that has never failed to pull me up the serious hills on my farm.
Tires and Wheels:
Wheels on it are desirable and tires are ok.
Extras:
You can see the extras like brush bars, winch bumper, top storage rack, also has extra fuel rear bumper carry system complete with 2 5 gal cans. Deep water snorkel. Heavy metal inside carry cages that are on top of fenders.
Final Details:
This sale is not a have to nor do I need the money so I won't respond to low ballers or people trying to tell me it's not in great condition and low balling me. You are welcome to see it in person and even drive it on my farm. I am willing to let it go for $25,000. I paid $34,000 for it originally and have put approx $2,500 in it with lights and interior parts. So I have $36,500 invested but will take a loss since it needs the interior put back in place and feel $25k is a good price that will allow many people enter the fun of Hummer.
