Hey guys, I hope I can get some help. This thing is driving me crazy. Have my truck in the workshop for a while and they can't figure out the issue.
The truck runs fine. Acceleration and braking all good. Just when slowing down from about 10mph theres a grinding noise. I shift into neutral makes no difference. Even if I let go of the brakes it will still grind. Anyone experienced this before. I had my transmission and transfer case checked and they are fine.

 

That does not sound good. Where are you located and has the shop your truck is at ever seen these vehicles before? We have a shop in Austin if you need anything. We only service Hummer H1 and support HMMWV’s
