Default Greetings from Michigan!

Just found this forum to start reading up on the H3. Just purchased an '09 yesterday. I already know it's a slug at acceleration but that wasn't a big concern. Wanted to read up on tires for winter and just about everything else...

Hello and Welcome from another Michigander! Wuite a few MI owners on this forum. Where in MI are you located?Post up some pix and specs on your 09 H3.

As far as tires are concerned, what are your plans for the H3? Daily Driver? Some Wheeling? Etc.

Do you plan on taking your rig OffRoad? If so PM me your email address and I will add you to our Wheelin' Midwest HUMMER group emails!

Welcome! Glad to have you aboard!

As for good winter tires... do you plan on driving off road a lot?

There are some tires that are great on pavement/snow/ice but not so great in the mud; there are tires that are pretty good off-road / on-road / winter weather; AND there are tires that are GREAT off-road, but suck in the winter.

So knowing what you plan to do with your truck, will help us, help optimize.

Hey everyone, thanks for the welcomes! Just picked it up today and I am totally in love. I've been tossing the idea around for a few years, then spotted this one and thought what the hell!
I'm located over in Fort Gratiot, near Port Huron. I will be driving it year round so some good tires for the winter. I read somewhere Revo's were the tires to have.
I've lived out in the country for 20+ years, and did a lot of muddin' with 4 wheelers and jeeps, so playing with it off road on occasion is probably in the cards!
