Default Greetings From GM Customer Service

would like to introduce myself as a Customer Assistance Representative from the GM Social Media group. The GM Social Media team is responsible for scanning over sixty forums, including this one, in order to provide customer service to those who utilize them. While we are not able to provide technical assistance, we are able to help in terms of customer assistance. This would include interacting with the customer in hopes that we can reach some kind of resolution together. We are looking forward to assisting those with concerns on the site. I can understand and appreciate you wanting to ensure that this is a legitimate outreach from GM. We are eager to be joining this online community and hope that we are able to provide some assistance here. Thank you.

Tricia, GM Customer Service.

GM and Customer Service, hahahahahahaha. That's an oxymoron in todays "New GM" era!

Hey Tricia, If you really are here to "help" and to prove you are affiliated with GM in some form.

1. Post some kind of contact information. Ph#, email addr, etc.
2. go to this thread https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/h...problems-2665/
and START "HELPING"!

.

Also search for the threads on the exploding air bags. GM seems to give everyone that has had the issue the run around before finally owning up to the problem. I know several people that have had the issue with the air bags and GM acts like it is the first time they have heard of it everytime. If you are for real and GM's intentions are truly to improve their customer service to Hummer owners then welcome to the site.
If this turns out to be a BS PR attempt then there is no need for you here.

I am calling out BS on "Tricia"

1. No customer service is going to expose themselves from any car company.
2. Why would they be concerned about an extinct vehicle (I don't see any Pontiac or olds customer service people knocking down the door)

Hello I am John, I represent Packard Motors & Edsel, I have a few Pinto's and Chevette's I would like to sell you.

I can be contacted by private message or by email at socialmedia@gm.com. Be sure to address the email to Tricia. I look forward to working with all of you and will also be taking a look at the thread suggested regarding Exactly how many have had HEAD/Valve Problems. Thank you.

Tricia, GM Customer Service.

Tricia, as you can see GM has made a PR nightmare for you to clean up. Many of us can afford to drive anything we want and by anything I mean all the Italian, German, English and domestically made vehicles produced. GM dumped us, screwed over the value of our vehicles with their wishy washy what are we going to do close down, sell, close down, sell hand wringing BS. Not likely many of us will ever trust GM with another auto investment/purchase decision. GM's handling of some of these continuing warranty issues is one aspect of a relationship gone bad. GM stepping up to the plate and taking care of their customers is one small step in the right direction. If this doesn't work well it will just cement GM's reputation as someone you don't want to deal with.

Tricia, GM Customer Service.
If you work for GM, which I doubt (at the most a supplier of GM), then contact Brand Quality, I believe they are still in the Tech Center, and have someone run warranty numbers on cylinder heads for 06 models. (Used to be a Hummer brand quality manager, believe his name was Terry, but not sure if he is still there). You will find out that early 06 H3s had quite huge cylinder head replacement warranty numbers (both money and numbers).

That will be a start.
