Greetings
Hello Everyone-
I do not own a hummer but i drive one everyday at work. I am joining this forum to learn more because the company seems to misplaced the owners manual. The Hummer is a 1994 H1, and i know nothing other than that and the VIN. It was rolled once and because of the roof being crushed, it is now a topless... permenantly. I have a question about 4WD. How do you shift into Low without breaking anything. what are the steps to making no grinding noises? thanks for the help and ill try and post up some pics later. Thanks!!!

RE: Greetings
To shift into low;
1. make sure that the truck is stopped and in neutral
2. push the t-case shifter into low
3. move the gear shifter to 1-4th gear
Do not drive over 25mph or on dry pavement/cement while in Low gear.
From my experience the truck usually grinds a little going into Low.
