Green Hids Installed
After a long wait me and my dad finally found some green xentec hids for my hummer
and im very happy! I asked one of our cop friends my dad knows to see if their is any law about them. And he said that if he didn't know about it, then more than likely nobody else does. So im crossing my fingers that no cops give me trouble.

Do you happen to know the state / federal code for that?
Usually (but always), vehicle equipment rules that specific are state level and can vary across the country. Just like window tinting and lift / fender laws.
Not sure state by state. Articles I've read have been fairly generic when they say they're illegal. I imagine you can go to your specific state's website. Here in Michigan it's SOM - State of Michigan.
DOT regulations, section 7 starting on page 252.
Section
Lots of stuff to wade through here, but basically headlights are approved as a "system", and replacing a component that hasn't gone through the testing for beam convergence and alignment is a no-no. Not that most cops will do much about it.
Same regulations make a lot of the aftermarket tail lights illegal, as they haven't passed required testing to meet DOT approval.
It appears I have too much time on my hands....

Well said . . .
All states have these DOT regulations on their books, but unless a cop sees you coming at night and sees excessive dazzle, he may not even care.
Allot of times if the cop can't determine if your lights are after market or not when he stops you, he will issue a fix-it ticket.
I'm not a huge fan of the "green" headlight look, but it's his truck and he likes it
