Got some new studded SNOW tires. Now the wait!
I have been running Hurcules Trail diggers all summer but my limited experience with them in the snow last spring and the sprinkle we had a couple of weeks ago let me know I needed something more suitable for ice and snow.
I decided on a set of 285/75/16 Cooper Discoverer M+S all studded up and ready to go!
No snow here yet just a small amount with freezing rain the other day and they were like glue to the road. Looking forward now to driving in some significant white stuff.

Yip allowed studded tires still in Newfoundland. I have run a lot of differnt tires and a number of vehicles and I hear people say all-seasons are fine for winter...The difference is night and day in my experience. I have put studded winter rated for a while now and drive through snow and ice like its dry pavement.

seams to work pretty good, we have had some icy roads the past week and I couldn't even notice
Light snow only about 10 cm yesterday. Packed down pretty good and I had no problem going around corners like it was summer. We'll see how evrything hold up when we get the deeper stuff. When the 80cm stuff hits I'll just stay home lol
so snow shouldn't be à problem
The mud was fun all summer and fall and no problem with the Diggers ( lousy in the snow though) but these Coopers are specifically snow tires.
No mud now-The ground has frozen solid...early this year. Kids are actually skating playing ice hockey on a local pond. One we get some real white stuff I'll post up some pics or vid of her in the snow (Hopefully getting through and not stuck lol)
