i'm looking at some 22 inch wheels which are black with a machined lip made by demoda concepts and the wheels are 22x10 with a 13 offset.are these going to stick out far or not.I really don't want them to stick out far at all but I don't really know much about the offset stuff so any help would be thankful.

 

stock is a +38 offset the closer you go toward 0 yhe farther they will stick out..any wheel questions ask Importkiller he is a great source of info on alot of stuff and thats where I learned most of my facts..

 

Ditto on asking Importkiller; however, IK has already put a lot of that info out in different postings. If you search I'm sure you will find the answers.

 

yeah i will have to find out about the offset thing,cause i do not want to pay a high price for some wheels and then get them on and find out that they stick way out.

 

Is it a +13 or -13 offset? Either way, they are definitely gonna stick out... the -13 will stick waaaaaay out. You need to stick with a high positive offset if you want them to tuck like stock. As jm4490 stated, stock offset is +38. Good luck and hope this helps.

I have a 20" wheel 8.5" wide and +14mm offset. The wheel is still tucked in but the BFG 305/55R20 sticks about 2.5" bulge to fender. Not bad actually, gives the H3 perfect agressive stance. Downside, your sides will get dirty easily.

 

it did'nt say if it was a +13 or -13,it just said 13.I gave them the offset of my stock wheels and they said there would be no problem with them sticking out if I got them.

 

If it's the -13 offset, they will stick out quite a bit. Trust me.

 

Check out the thread "22"S WITH 325/50 TERRA GRAPPLERS..." Nice set of 22's that fit about as well as you could hope with no rubbing. They are black with a polished lip so you'll be able to get a good idea of what you'll be seeing.

 

The wheels you're talking about with that offset will stick out about an inch to an inch and a quarter more than mine do.....check out my thread and take a look at the pics. Then, decide if you'd want them sticking out an inch or more than mine do. Bear in mind that my rims are 9.5 wide and yours are 10....so that's an extra 1/4" more on both the inner and outer that they will stick out. (plus the offset difference adding almost an inch more of "stick out" than mine). PM me if you'd like....I'll give you all the help that I can.
