I purchased a 2003 H2 in Charlotte, NC back in 2007. I drove it for a couple of years while being a member of this forum group. Really enjoyed and appreciated all the help I was able to get from everyone.
Then my daughter graduated from NC State as a Veterinarian and she landed a job in Kentucky as an Ambulatory Vet. She needed an SUV to carry this huge medical box around and......what better than an H2! So I swapped her out for her Toyota and off she went. She drove the ol girl for 6 years. Then in December of last year, she calls me up and tells me that her husband bought her a new car and I could have the Hummer back! Yahoo!
I drove to Sterling Virginia four weeks ago and drove the Hummer home! It's good to have her back! She has 177,000 miles on her and she is in great condition. My daughter replaced the entire airbag system while she had it and she put brand new floorboards on it just before giving it back.
You will be seeing more of me on the forum again as I have a number of things that I need to "fiddle with" to make it perfect again!
