i agree, but at the same time, it could turn into a bash-fest, in which he could not defend himself, and then it looks like were all acting like mark...well, like mark, but less retarded...

 

i don't know what went down, other than we apparently weren't allowed to use the word moron when referring to one of Denise's friends. apparently my role as a mod got his panties twisted enough to try to egg me into a battle at the other site. aside from that, i'm clueless (not too odd) . . . . .

 

first off, the kids i coach are terrible about trying to make pretty passes, and ive written that quote on my coaching board between periods at least 100 times...

anyway, someone called one of dennis' landrover friends a moron, and someone else was called a douchbag...i understand that this came about during a conversation in which several of our LEO members were being loosely accused of abusing their power, which is ridculous. when it all started, dennis and a few of his "people" who emailed me were very vague with what was going on. however, when i spoke to importkiller, he ws completely up front with me as to what happened. he acknowledged what he had said in defense of our LEO members, which lead me to allow everyone to be unbanned. the entire time, the banned members were very forward with me as to what happened, while dennis and mark, and their supporters refused to admit to any wrong doing.

 

thanks for the answers, but a bit more of the juicy tidbits would have been nice too. like, did he call impy a "totally unwashed, sitting in the sun for a week, putrid douchebag", or just a douchebag? but no big deal, i'll save that one for another day. btw, what's a"LEO" member?

 

for the record...I called that chick a douchbag but edited the post 6 minutes later, before anyone other than Dennis read it!!!!!!!! I edited without bieng told to by Denise and noone would have known what I said so noone would have been offended....but dennis had to retype what I originally said a few posts later just to make me look bad. I know I was was wrong and posted out of anger...hell I'm human.

there really isnt anything juicy...dennis didnt like a few people getting into it with one of his landrover friends...and when impy came to the aid of jdrew, along with a few others, dennis went off the deep end and banned everyone involved. ive dealt with some BAD moderators in my day. hell,i removed a mod from one of my other sites, who was the top poster (over 20,000 posts) and was a fairly popular member, but he refused to work with the other moderators. he was a real *****, and refused to hear the opinions of female members. he also removed any threads about modifications that he didnt care for...we asked him to stop, and this has been going on for some 18 months now, and he wouldnt budge, so he was removed. i always extend some measure of due process to the moderators, and i almost always give them the benefit of the doubt. even if importkiller had called a bunch of people putrid douchebags, or worse, ford owners ( ..sorry), i wouldnt have banned him. i would have attempted to right the situation, and if no conclusion would have been reached, he would have been demodded...banning everyone offered no chance for fixing the issue, and that was what i told dennis. i give everyone a chance to explain themselves, if nothing else, and he refused to consider that as option.

 

i don't get pissed about "noone". it reminds me of a nooner - speaking of which, i love working from home - gotta go - be back in about, oh, 3 minutes . . . . .
