Default Got Mileage?

It's been a while since we've beat this horse. I have never gotten more thn 14.5 MPG with combined city / highway driving. I have heard of guys getting more with their stock rigs.

I have a 2007 H3 with Adventure Pkg and Auto tranny. I'm wondering if the 285 tires change the mileage figures or not and if I need to up the air in them for in town driving. Right now they're filled to the factory default level of 35 PSI.

Mine is still brand new. I'm on my third tank. But over the first two tanks I'm averaging 15.6 mpg 30% city-70% freeway. I have the 265 tires.

No off-roading yet

Do you drive lead footed? Are in areas which requires accellerating a lot?

Not me. I'm lightfooted. And I will be disappointed if the 15.6 mpg doesn't get better.

I try to go easy on the pedal but there are times I have to tromp on it. Drive on I-4 at around 75 MPH which just about keeps me up with the flow of traffic. I think 14 MPG sucks but I don't know what other guys are getting.

18.5 with the stock tires city. Added 35" and it droped to 16.8 - 17.4 depending on driving. Added CAI and exhaust.

CWO, When you changed tires did you recalibrate the speedo for the change in tire size?
