Where did the plate go? And do you really think the way you mounted it will be as strong as the right side factory one? I've never seen what is behind the shackle on the right side I don't know if it's just bolted into the bumper or there is an additional support structure behind it or what.

I'll get some pics up... I got a passenger side bumper bracket and modded the bumper...

DAGKANA....you've got to have the ONLY H3 in existence with a bottle opener bolted to the bumper! (or is that a 3rd tow hook?)

So there's the how to get to the dual shackles...
Took some pieces of the frame rail

the whole bracket is bolted into the frame rail in 3 spots, the bumper an additional 5, however to get it to work i cut off the smallest mounting tab on the bottom, I had to drill new holes for the D ring bracket and for the adjustment in the top bolts

I'd love to see the plate mount, and I must know, is that in fact a bottle opener on your bumper? :P

Sure is! I got one a few years back, painted it black over the SS and it's made in USA! Couple of self taping screws and now Im NEVER without a bottle opener -

Thorparts has one on his rear bumper

Nice job DAGKANA! A Thorparts rear bumper with a drivers D-ring mount will be my next purchase. Did you relocate your plate to the spare?
