I've come to a point now where I realize no matter how Neutral or "nice" I try to be to everybody, someone will ALWAYS take sides, take offense, and take things the wrong way. Dennis is a good guy despite what things he may or may not say that we don't agree or disagreewith. He's said some harsh things to me, and because of this, I'm done.

Get to know people personally before you judge them. Judging someone from what they post on a forum such as this is NOT in ANY WAY a substitution for REAL LIFE. That goes to everybody on here.This is all unnecessary high school drama. Forgive me for trying to befriend people, be nice to people, understand everybody's points of view, and trying to make everybody get along. I'm sure this post will get deleted, so that's all I can say. I never thought I'd get so emotionally attached to people online, and yet I have. I'm tired of this high-school arguing non-sense and bickering.

At least HummerMike, ZYNE and JDREW know the REAL me in the REAL world, and can tell ALL of you just the kind of person I am, none of which is what you may all think. It's been fun, but it's time to go.

Dennis; despite what you think of me, all I can say is you really meant more to me then just some moderator on here. That's all I'll say.

I for one think these stomp outs are a little rash ... Personally I think Den should re-read that whole thread .. the one he locked because it is "no longer accepted" which I can only assume is due to the fact that webalked against him and his actions ... must be nice having the ability to nip an issue in the butt before too many people have a chance to react to your actions.
Yes, there were some name calling going on, what else is new around here!? But keep in mind here ... we had a MOD besides Impy doing more or less the same thing .. and was called on it .. and then locked the threadthe second some folks, me included, reacted on it... common man .. grow up doode .. don't chastize people for taking JD's side when you in fact jabbed at him yourself, for reasons that are still beyond my grasp .. but then again, I've had the opportunity to meet the man behind the keyboard...

I am not taking any sides here but I learned a long time ago to read a whole thread before jumping on the bandwagon and responding to a post if one has not been following it all along. Perhaps some of you should have done so before posting the latest responses this morning. I believe if you go way back and read, you will see that Dennis explained himself to JD and offered up that he meant no disrespect to HE NOR LE. OR did many of you conveniently just not read that?

This whole thing is just plain rediculous - 4 or 5 threads in a few short days going south and being totally "SHAT" UP... Sounds to me like many are in need of a computer shut off and a vacation! I don't GAS if this makes me unpopular and lambast me if you choose - but I am tired of finding these silly little snitfits in nearly every off topic thread I read now. And yes, I can turn it off too! Someone call me when everyone grows the FK up and the dust settles as I happen to like this forum and have had many laughs and found much useful info here!

 

I guess my point here is ... I don't really give two ***** as to what was said after the fact .... The root cause of this very issue is one troll's crappy comment, Impy's in my opinion valid "moron" remark and then a bunch of self righteous BS from Den about Impy's behavior when in fact Den was just as much to blame as the !@#$!@#$ troll receiving the initial comment, this based on Den's poor attitude towards a person hehas never even met.... So my suggestion here is that SOME get off their high horses ... fukk .. why do I even bother ... this is becoming more and more like meeting ground fora bunch of over grown male babies with more testosterone than deductive reasoning .. grow the fukk up people ..

You can defend someone or yourself by sayingyou didn't mean something a certain way, or you meant no disrespect, but you know what Sarah, YOU didn't read what he wrote to me in a PM this morning. Maybe he'll share it and you'll still be on his side.

It doesn't take away from the fact that the statement about Jeremy was made, and how can one say it wasn't meant that way, when in fact that is as direct of a stereotype as you can get? That's like telling somebody "Hey, that bowling ball falling towards your face is going to hit you" and you not believing it until it actually hits you. You can't discount the ball hit you when your face is smashed into the ground (no pun intended). It is what it is.

There is absolutely no excuse, especially for a mature adult, to stereotype another mature adult, without proper justification and specify it's their own opinion.

is a stereotype, UNJUSTIFIED considering Dennis has NEVER met the man.

MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, he meant this as a joke, in a nice sense, but ya know what, it was absolutely no excuse for hitting me below the belt. This had NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING to do with what ImportKiller said, what Shortbus said, but was twisted around to make it about something else.

There are Three issues here; one is personal feelings towards what is right and wrong on a forum, guidelines that Dennis, as the Administrator, is to follow, and what is acceptable and what isn't.

Dennis has to follow rules unfortunately, and they are on this forum posted, which we all agree to, BUT,abusing your power to make things look in your favor after saying something like that, and pointing fingers, and the worst part, taking something you know I'm VERY passionate about, and having the nerve to use it against me, well, that just goes to show me that as nice of a person you think someone is, they can have that little heartless streak in them, and THAT is why I am leaving. You guys can have your own theories and reasons, but I have my own, and they have nothing to do with ImportKiller, Shortbus, etc. I'm leaving because honestly, making friends that turn around and use my passions to strike a counter blow against me is not the kind of friendship I need in my life. You guys will never know what I mean, because I won't do what's expected of me and tell you. All I can say is I'm very dissappointed in all of this, but what's done is done, and it is what it is. Once a mask is lifted and you know someone under the mask, you can never pretend the mask didn't exist.

I'm a hypocrit, go ahead, I defend the same man I critisize. Oh well, that's me. Love it or hate it, that's me, always trying to find the good in everybody. Maybe if there were more people like me in this world, we wouldn't be on the bring of destroying each other.
