Anybody that trades or buys let us know what type of deal you get.

Right now you can get a good deal on just about any SUV orpickup but you won’t donearly asgood on your trade-in. As I said in my earlier post, the best offer I could get for my 08’ Alpha was $25k. Fergitabotit!

it may get better once the 08's hit the books. I think dealers are looking at 07 values, and estimating after that. I keep checking KBB and NADA guides, and it says N/A for 08 models.

Anything you might lose on the trade could be made up in rebates on the new one, currently $5K. I bought my 08 about 2 months ago, only 3k in rebates.
Good point. Someone in car sales once told me, don't worry about what you are getting on your trade, just focus on the bottom line of what you are paying for the new vehicle. Car dealers can be pretty creative with the math if they want to move their stock.

Y'all stop your worrying!
[ol][*]It'll cost you more to trade than it will to buy gas for a year.[*]Gas it artificially HIGH right now and the speculators need to be thrown out of the market. Congress is looking at just that.[*]When gas comes back down all of the over reactors will be stuck with an econobox and we will still have our trucks.[/ol]
I saw this happen in the 70's. It ended then, it will end again.

Agreed. I wouldn't be in a hurry to get screwed.

If you can buy without a trade in this is a great time to buy. None of mine are going anywhere so if I get another it is a straight buy deal.

From what I've read the price should drop back but don't expect it to drop below $3.00.
