GM Parts Direct is really hit or miss and the communication SUCKS! It's great if you want to save some $ and can wait but if you want it soon they are not the people to deal with. I've ordered from them 3 times. First order was for the center console tray thingger that comes w/the lux's and mudflaps. I got those in 2 weeks. Second order was for a chrome H3 tail pipe extension. That took 5 weeks. My last order was for the Off Road Roof Light Kit and that is on back order. I found out that GM doesn't make them so I tried telling them to cancel my order b/c it will be on back order for a long time but no one ever gets back to me. But the nice thing is they don't charge you until the part is delivered so you don't have to worry about loosing money if the part never shows up.

 

GMPARTSDIRECT let me cancel my order and I ordered the ones on ebay for 374.39 and free shipping. GMPARTSDIRECT had me on the "part shipped from GM" for 4 weeks.
