I know this question isn't really cut and dry, but what would you guys consider "low mileage" and "typical mileage" on a used H2? I know that 12000 miles/year is supposedly considered average for any vehicle, but what are the opinions on this board?

In terms of what I can afford, I'm looking at probably a 2003 or 2004, so I want to be armed with an idea of what kind of mileage to look for.

Heck, any gotchas with the 2003/2004 H2 SUVs would be handy to know as well.

I would look around 50k to 60k miles. If you could get less, that would be great.

The only problems I know of on the early model,are the mirrors. But chances are they have already been replaced.
I have an 06, so I don't know of any other major stuff.
There are a lot of people on here that can answerthose questions though.

 

I have an 03.... Mirrors have been replaced.... The fuel tank shield bands have been replaced twice...

I have 54,000 miles..... my oil comes out of it at 0% oil life just as clean as the oil comes out of my 07 E-250 at 4000 miles.... I am going to have this last change burnt (perk of my job) to see what the real story is with my engine....

There are a few things special about the 03..... it's the only year with the FM antenna on the roof.... I'm not sure about 04's but I don't have brake lights in the rearbumper either..... The A/C is always on unless you hit the A/C button (changed in 04)..... only 316hp.....

 

Yeah, I think if you can find an '03 with 50,000 or an '04 with 40,000 that should be arounf "AVERAGE"!!
