and everytime one of them needs money I remind them what they told me all those years....

1. Hard work never killed anybody....

2. You don't get anywhere in life being handed everything...

3. You'll appreciate it more if you save up for it....

Still know the feelings though. Seem to be a lot of silver spooners out there. Hard work is nice and I am very proud of my work which gave me the toys I have today but there is something to that whole silver spoon thing that wouldn't be so bad.

I wasn't handed anything either BUT my parents sacrificed a lot just to put food on the table and shoes & clothes on our back. We weren’t rich but we weren’t poor either, just a middle class family with four children growing up in the 50’s.
