I like the french version better....sounds more old and dignified.

I like the french version too, but it's rarely sung in English speaking areas. Sometimes we switch between them for different lines.

Typing special symbols is an old computer trick. Each character has a numeric equivalent (ie A=0065). In MS Windows, if you know the four digit numeric code for the character you want, you can make it appear by holding down the ALT key, then typing the four digit code on the numeric keypad (numbers on side of KB, not the number keys above the letters), so to type Á, you hold down ALT and type 0193 on your numeric keypad. To find the codes, look them up on the internet, or a program that comes with windows called "Character Map" will display them for you.
