Just bought a 2007 Black H3 today. It currently has chrome rims, mirrors, grill, and handles. I won't to go all black.

Looking for people interested in trading my chrome for your black.

Also has anyone painted or plasti-dipped any of the parts I am looking at changing to black. If so how did it hold up for you?

Do some searches, you should find a few threads where people have turned their chrome black. Plain old rattle can paint, rattle can bedliner, and line-x/rhino liner with differing results.

You'll also find a number of threads with people wanting to trade their chrome for someone elses black. Problem with that is if both people are not local then at least one person has to go without their parts while waiting for the other person to do the swap then ship the traded parts. I'd love to trade my chrome for someone's black, but I'm not going to do without door handles for a week or more and I wouldn't expect the other person to either.

 

There's a guy selling handles and mirrors in the for sale section, than you can get the grille either painted or bedlinered... The wheels I would either get powdercoated or look for black ones...
