How is the wind noise with the GOBI Stealth?

Are there any other roof racks that you really like or are happy with?

Anyone building customs that you have experience with?

I really like the look and utility of the GOBI Stealth roof rack but I am hesitant to order based on long lead times and terrible customer service.

If anyone knows of one for sale please forward to me as well.

All depends what you put on it. Wind noise wasn't bad at all with the sunroof open until I added lights up there. Now the noise is so loud I really can't drive with the sunroof open on the highway. It's just too loud to hold a conversation.

Your rig is the one that makes me want the GOBI Stealth! How is the wind noise with the sunroof closed running 70? I would probably add lights similar to what you done so your opinion is greatly appreciated!

Sunroof closed you would never know there was a rack up there. Honestly even with the side windows open you don't hear much, just when the sunroof is open.


The main reason I went with the stealth was I wanted to keep the ability to part in my garage. Recently I added GM green keys and 1.5" rear spacers and even lifting a bit I can still fit in the garage with the stealth rack. I have always liked the ranger rack but if I have to choose I would still go with the stealth. You know it's up there but it's not huge like the ranger.
