Default Go Lights INstalled!

It all started here. https://www.hummerforums.com/m_37197/tm.htm
I got them today. As usual you might as well break out the entire tool box. I may write up a how to later but if anybody really is going to install them I will add some things I figured out along the way. If its worth the space I can get something together. There are some tricks.Check the previous light search thread for more info.

Actually I was playing around and you can program them to run together on one remote, (kinda weird) or separate code on each one. I have two remotes velcroed to the dash above the center vents. I drove thru the neighbor hood with them angled out to the sides. It snowed a little here and I just had to play. They really light up a stop sign two blocks away. I think they are brighter than my roof lights. More of a spot but a big one. Im not sure I can chew gum, drive, operate both lights independently, tap my foot to XM tunes, talk on the cell phone and hold adrink at the same time or not! They came with covers which we have to have on "offroad" lights here. I can turn them backwards as well, in fact they do go 360 which could blind you. ha The picture I shot I had to get where I was not aiming right into the reflectors or it was a blurr of light. Im a happy Hunner Hummer driver once again. I thru bolted mine with SS bolts and found some really good waterproof fuse holders and disconnects.

Ha ha you guys are incorrigible. Im just bored so I have to stay busy in the shop. When you been married 37 years you don't need excuses anymore. I buy all my stuff with xtra money from working on boats.Tell them it's a safety item. In a pinch you can roast a bratwurst on them for survival. You can feel the heat standing in front of the vehicle! It could save you from frost bite while winching in the winter. Get creative. I walked across the street and could control them from there. It says up to 100 feet. I will have to test that one. Have fun life is short. I retired at 48. Now Im playing.

You know one magnetic mount on the roof top would be more practical than fixed lights. But then if you got an H3 practical is not an issue right? That way you could remove it so it would not get "lost" I still want some xtra cowl/vents so I could put the lights away if I travel to unknown areas. I have a case the lights will fit in mounted on the vents. Im going for shock and awe look with them mounted full time for now. Im going on a midnight run to see how slick it is and look for cars in the ditch.
