"In early April, sources told Reuters that three bidders were in the running for Hummer, and that none of the bidders are automakers.

What's the big deal. They already build a near exact replica of the H1, so they should have some experience with Hummer production.
What would be a real dark day is when a Chinese company buys a large stake in Chrysler. Then they would have access to the M1 Abrams main battle tank!
