Default GM Supplier?

Hello and thanks for all the great info I've gotten by lurking here so far. I'm about to lease a 2007 H3 and have a GM Supplier discount. I was told today that if I am leasing, the $2000 rebate that GM is offering is not available to me. Is this correct? I was under the impression that I could combine this offer with my GMS discount regardless of whether or not I was leasing or purchasing.

If this is in fact correct, I will purchase the H3 instead. I'm just a bit leery of taking this info as fact... especially considering the GM website clearly states a 2 yr lease on a 2007 H3 with an MSRP of $37,000 to be $475 a month with only the first month's payment due at signing + tax, tag, and title of course. This dealer quotes me "around" $510 a month plus $1000 down + tax, tag, and title.

What gives? Thanks in advance for all replies. Btw, I'm in SC so if any of you can recommend a dealer in my area (Ga, NC, SC) I'm all ears.

Welcome, and good luck with your search for a new Hummer. I can't answer your question myself, but someone here should be able to recommend a good dealer in your area. Once you have a dealer you can trust, they should be able to answer any questions you have regarding discounts/rates etc.

Then, once you have sealed the deal, get some pics here!!!

H3tiger

I'm a retired GM employee and I just picked up a new H3 this afternoon. The $2000bonus cashis for purchases only. You can't get it on a lease. If you lease, there is a $500 bonus cash offer.

seems like a good answer to me....why post this on the other site?

Just a note of thanks to all of you who respnded to my question about leasing. I posted the same question on another forum and had 33 views and 1 reply. Guess I know where I'll be spending my time once I take delivery of my new H3.
You want to go over there...fine...have fun...but to make us sound like a bunch of no replying idiots isn't very fair. For god sakes you posted that message over there less than 24 hours after you posted the question here!

It was a good answer, and that's why I thanked Denny for it. I posted that on the other site because at the time, that was exactly right. I never referred to anyone here as an idiot, nor did I call this forum by name. I simply stated a fact. I have enjoyed reading this board also, but I have to say that I'm not exactly impressed with the tone of the replies from your admin and your mods here. My first post was courteous as was my reply to Denny for answering my question. Sorry if you were offended by my posting that on the other site... it was not my intention to ruffle any feathers. My sincere apologies... [sm=sorry.gif]

Have a great day!

It was not offending that you posted on another site..more power to you, ..it was WHAT you posted on the other site that was offending...there is a difference there.

Apologies accepted
