GM Fuel Door Kit
Just bought the GM fuel door kit and installed it... but for some reason I can't get it to sit flush on the fender (it leaves about a quarter inch gap). Is there supposed to be a rubber seal that goes around it? If so mines doesn't have one...

The best thing to do is to remove about 4 of the plastic tabs on the wheel well get your hand up in there.
Let someone hold a towel double up and hold it on the cover and with you hand inside the wheel well with your hand feel the metal pins then take a rubber hammer tap them outside where the towel is go around to all the tabs it will fit flush.
Then put the plastic tabs back on the wheel well cover then your done.
