Default Gettin' On My Nerves

It's probably just me, but I have a Magnaflow muffler 1 into 2 on my H3 Alpha and it sounds just a little louder than stock.
Doesn't sound bad, just not enough oomph.

Tried the Hooker Aero Chamberand that wouldn't fit.
It's too long.

Called Flowmaster and they don't make a cross flow muffler in the 40 series, just the 80.

Other than going true duals, what other choices do I have, other than to shut up and keep what I have.

Gibson makes a couple of cat backs, and I believe you can buy a Gibson muffler too

I went through the same thing on my Alpha with the Magnaflow. Was not loud enough for me. First I removed the resonator. That helped a little but ended up have a custom shop installed a 1 in 2 out that fits the later model Camero's. He welded on the Magnaflow tips and now it sounds perfect.

Resonator is gone too.
Glad it's not just me.
Everyone says the Magnaflows sound so much better than most others.
What muffler you have on it?

Is it a aftermarket or stock replacement Camero exhaust? And a year would help too.. I have a friend who works at a exhaust shop and needs years and the type. I heard of guys getting Camero exhausts put in with custom cat back pipe work, but searched came up with nothing
Thanks! Also, have any pics??

Aftermarket. I don't know the year for sure. Guessing it was a late 90's. It goes across the rear same as OEM. Any 1 in 2 out that will physically fit should work. He had to weld on a couple of hangers. The inlet and the outlets were very close to the same locations of of the Magnaflow. He cut the tips off the Magnaflow and welded them to the new muffler. A muffler shop should be capable of bending and welding in anything that will fit. I will try to get some pics.
