Gauge Cluster
I changed my wheel bearings yesterday. Now today the abs and traction control lights were on. I went to an auto parts store and had it checked the guy tried to reset the computer but it didn't work so he said to go home and unhook the battery for 15 min then hook it back up and see if it reset the sensors. I did and now the gauge cluster does nothing. I just replaced the cluster last year with a brand new one. I have checked the fuses and I am at a loss any suggestions?
I disconnected battery in my envoy to reset a code just like what you did and when I reconnected battery had a few things not working, someone told me to disconnect the negative again and when I reconnect to make sure I get it reconnected without trying to start the bolt a few times like when you go to reconnect and you get a few quick sparks as your trying to get bolt started, try to to get bolt started on first try one immediate reconnection so computers in truck boot up correctly, it worked for me, long shot but ever since then I try to reconnect battery this way on all my vehicles, worth a shot, disconnect for 5 minutes and try this
