I have family from CA/AZ so I know where the Mexi comment came from. But keep in mind, I have a house and 2 H3's that alot of "common work" paid for

Reef aren't you glad you don't have to fill up SeaBass's Hummer? When I was in high school "getting" any girl in school was a high priority. You have the perfect PW. Find a job, buy some gas and get laid in the back. You should be in heaven right now not bemoaning having to find a different job. I'd mow lawns all day to get Jessica Hotcrotch in the back of my Hummer at night.

All of this talk of "you know what you signed up for" when looking to improve gas milage is one thing, but whenI bought my 2007 (5-speed) it had a sticker on the window stating 21mpg. Something thatIdidnt think was impossibe given the manual trans and a 5 cyl motor. Also the dealer had a huge banner that said 21mpg on the actual truckI bought and a huge chart in the showroom with a half dozen or so SUV's listed and the hummer H3 5-speed at the top with 21mpg. That is kinda whatI originally signed up for but never got close to it.Atsome pointI gave up and put on M/T's and aroof rack so at least its a useful gas hog. I noticed that since the laws changed the 2008+'s have more accurate gas mileage ratings.
