.... Chromed Alloy is useless - Stainless or propper billetPOLISHED or BRUSHED Alloy is what you want. Tough as nails and looks right classy too. You wont see "chromed plated" anything on my families 4x4's, fishing boats or bikes. Its the real deal or go home. Also FYI chrome treating alloy or steal (unless its the cheap plastic coat) will weaken the material making it easier to chip,crack or warpunder normal usage. Stainless looks excellent how ever you are limited to the the type of chemicals to use to polish it with. most of the time a regular cheap liquid soap is good enough.
Me personally i'll stick with the Billet alloy in the brushed finnished, Not as bling as some people would like, But i know its gonna last[8D]
