picking up H3 next week........ It looks like there is a wide range of fuel consumption for this baby anywhere from 8 to 18 mpg. I understand that after break in period seems like this improves....... but what gives ????? Then again....who cares.... it's a Hummer !!!!

as the proud owner of that 8mpg figure you included in your range I can tell you that I am the exception and not the norm. From what I have seen posted on this and other boards over the last year 14-17 seems to be the normal range. Alot can cause changes just in the h3 you buy, base has smaller tires than adventure so you will see a slightly higher mpg number, auto and stick will also have different numbers. lots of factors

 

All I can say.. is this week is dragging along !!!!!!!!!!!! Monday can't get here quick enough....don't hear that very often [sm=groupwave.gif]

 

At least your weekend will seem a lot longer.
