if you are trying to say 3 mi/liter then that's 11.34 mpg. I get 17-18 mpg normally which would be about 4.63 mi/liter or 7.22 liter/km depending on how you figure it out.

The tank is 23 gallons, I think the low fuel light comes on at 2 gallons left on mine.

Default H3 fuel economy..

I get about 18 1/2 miles to the gallon, and I drive it a lot in both city and highway. I think that's pretty good. If you're not getting at least 17 miles, then I would think there is something wrong. Check your air filters, etc.

I get right around 19mpg highway, depending on speed/load/traffic. This is with the STOCK ratty air filter. I feel when I get my airdoc and K&N filter I'll be a tick over 20mpg highway.

Default k-n dirt

ive read some posts by guys who sound smart saying the would never use k-n filter..bigger holes let in more air and the dirt in it.

it would probably thousands of miles b4 the xtra dirt would grind the rings and cylinder walls and the main and rod bearings and plug up the oil filter, and blow up the motor,,,though

something to consider

others say the stock filter is better even for mpg

how can it be proved??

oh whats a mother to do,,,

tom

oh,,btw if u consider the cost of k-n and the questionably tiny increase in mpg,,it may actually pay off b4 the motor goes or in 7 years which ever comes ,,,first

k-n shows a few hp increase at 4000 rpm so we need to drive in 2nd gear to keep the rpms up and i think that might cut mpg,,,though

something to consider

i like to stay under 2000 if possiblesxz

just found this

Cool, one last question, does it take the stock filter or do you have the filter?

I used the stock air filter which is better than K&N. K&N lets too much crap into the motor. WOWIE KAZOWIE!!
