Default Front End Noise?

Well guys I have a problem with the front end and wondering if any of you guys have had the same or heard of this. While Im driving at slower speeds such as 25 or less Im guessing, I turn the wheel left or right and hear a noise that sounds like a rubbing sound or something that is not greased. Its hard to explain the noise. I called the closest dealership and talk to manager and he has not heard of this problem or seen it. By the way he is just over a hundred miles away. Not close to play with bullcrap or to get the runaround. This noise started up front after I went off road through some mud and water. Not real deep though. You hear it when you go around corners slow and when parking in a lot or something. Its really bothing me so please help me out if you know. I believe it may be something in steering shaft or links. thanks

i had this symptom, had to go in 3 times before they found it. it was the drivers side hub assembly, they replaced it finally. pass side was found bad when i went in for an alignment and fabtech tie rod ends. i only heard it driving slow. it sounded like something was out of round, and rubbing on each wheel revolution. good luck

Yes I think that is exactly that problem. When I called the mechanic he said it maybe sounds like a problem they have had with h2's but has not seen an h3 with such a problem. It does sound out of round during each wheel rotation. Thanks man I am going to mention the problem and see what they will do for me.

they should replace the whole assembly for you, it's not something they can repair. good luck.
