Smiling when I read your reply. I've owned many 1/4 mile race cars (including my 13 second street 58 Chevy Biscayne, which I've owned since 1987). At this point of my life I'm more into all show, no go mode... My days of jack rabbit starts are long since gone and I have other toys I can take out if I feel the need.

I have no good reason to install the 35's or 37's other then I want them and like the "look". At this point that is all the reason I need. I had thought about the "crawl" factor of the larger tires on the smaller engine. The truth is I would never had bought the H3 in the first place if that was going to be a factor. Thanks for pointing it out though. Still smiling...

Trail Duty has the extended bump stops back in stock. I ordered them on December 12th and they shipped today! I picked the 1/2 inch extended versions. I had the dealer do the front end alignment. Even without the extended bump stops I'm happy with the ride. Ordered 35 inch tires today.

I agree with 58Bisc. The longer shocks made all the difference with the ride. If you can't get longer BSs build up the lower control arm where they hit. I personally like the built up cont. arm with the stock BS. The aftermarkets are stiffer. With the stock ride hieght and stops, the stops touched the cont. arm when my 2008 was new. When the stops don't touch there is too much dip when breaking. Just my experience, I'm not an engineer. Good Luck.
