front diff leak

front diff leak

looking for front diff info..96 H1...its leaking gear oil..not sure if its the seal or axle moved out of diff...My question is ,what holds the axle in the diff assembly..it looks like it moved out slightly..

is it leaking at the axle seal or at the pinion?

Probably the seal. Get a routine service done on that.
