Hi guys
I am looking to replace both front diff axle seals (part# 3 from picture) on my 2005 H2 SUT. I have searched the web for diy and cant find one for hummer h2. I've seen the following videos on you tube for and and it looks pretty easy to do. My concern is in our cars we dont have the electric motor on axle tube that is connected to diff . Do i need to take the axle tube out like the the videos on youtube or can i take out the half shafts without removing the tube. there is a C ring (part number 2) on the axle shafts, do i need to take the whole diff apart to take the shafts out or can i just use a block of wood and a hammer to tap them out.
